2010 BRCC JUNIOR GOLF
Dear Junior Golfer:
Welcome to the JUNIOR GOLF PROGRAM at Blue Ridge Country Club. Our intent is to expose you to a great sport you can play the rest of your life. Our plan is to make golf a fun and safe activity for you and provide sound instruction on the fundamentals, rules and etiquette.
The following information is to give you a general plan of what is scheduled this year. Please make sure to check the Junior Golf Bulletin Board in the hallway outside the Pro Shop for additional information, tournament schedules, applications and upcoming events.
Social Members and grandchildren of members are also invited to take advantage of our golf clinics and camps.
If you have an interest, we have opportunities for you to either start or improve your game.

SPONSORED JUNIOR PROGRAM
This program is an opportunity geared to the serious junior golfer (up to age 19) to obtain playing privileges at Blue Ridge Country Club. Members will be required, upon sponsoring a junior, to take full responsibility for them. Fees to sponsor a junior are $400 if the junior is a relative, $500 for all others, which will be charged to your account. You must meet and introduce the junior and at least one of his/her parents to the Director of Golf, before they will be allowed use of the golf course. Further information will be given to all parties at this meeting. As always, all junior golf rules apply and any player introduced through these means must receive the Director of Golf's permission before use is granted. SOCIAL MEMBERS
If your son or daughter is a golfer, they may attain playing privileges in the same fashion as the Sponsored Junior Program. Contact Peter Micklewright at 545-8311.
JUNIOR GUEST FEES
Junior Guest Fee rates are 2/3 of the normal greens fee. This may help you juniors when you bring a friend to BRCC.
